Trials for the Pakistan Street Child Football Team are currently underway across the country, with the aim of selecting young talent for the prestigious Norway Cup 2025 and the Street Child World Cup 2026.
In the first phase, trials successfully concluded in 12 cities across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The cities that participated include Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Peshawar, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, among others.
These trials received an overwhelming response, with a large number of enthusiastic young players taking part.
The next phase of trials will focus on Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Young athletes from these regions will have the chance to showcase their skills and secure a place in the national team.
To ensure a fair competition, the maximum age limit for participants has been set at 17 years.
The Norway Cup 2025 will take place in Oslo, Norway, from July 26 to August 2, while the Street Child World Cup 2026 is scheduled to be held in the United States in February and March.
These tournaments will bring together talented young players from around the world, providing a platform for underprivileged youth to shine on the global stage and inspire others across the country.
